  2. How is that the "experts"--the chief priests and teachers of the law--knew where Christ would be born, but didn't seem interested at all to find Him? Hadn't they been waiting for the promised Messiah since Adam and Eve? Why wouldn't they want to check it out?

  3. that's the Irony of the so called religious people of the day, they had all the ceromony and hype, but not of the worship or belief. They seemed to be caught up in the fact that they had promises while not really believing in them.

  4. I like the story of the monkey and unfortunately can relate to grabbing for things that I do not need only want or think I need to be happy and joyful. It is really in knowing God that I become joyful. He is everything and next to Him, all else does not measure. Blessings to everyone today and may we all find at least a moment to be with Him today.

  6. Our family is enjoying doing this together. We have had a lot of great discussions with our 6 and 8 year old. It is amazing how their minds think. We are also enjoying looking at different translations as we go.
